In this one day introduction to grain setting techniques, you will learn how to set small stones in a selection of styles. You will start with a simple single stone grain setting, before moving on to a traditional star setting and finally a row of five stones in a thread and grain style setting. 

During the day we will also look at considerations for grain setting as well as the preparation of tools and possible applications. You will be setting into silver castings so you can leave with a ring to wear, or you can carry on adding stones to after the course.
